Capture pollutants above the drain, clean and bioremediate below the drains. Dual component product includes Drain Guard to capture pollutants entering drain and a Microbe Boom to clean up the inside of the catch basin. The oil-eating microbes housed in the boom activate when exposed water and once activated they consume the hydrocarbons in the water and leave behind only harmless, natural byproducts. The Ultra-Drain Guard catch basin insert captures dirt, sediment, oil, grease and other pollutants and stops them from entering the water system. The Ultra-Archaea Boom includes a 4' tether and is tied to a grommet in the bottom of the Ultra-Drain Guard. Helps comply with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999) and TMDL requirements.
