Executive Officer/Owner

Davian Ploger

Davian is the former CEO/President of First Response Environmental Group, located in Tennessee, as well as the CEO of a well-regarded environmental services organization in south Louisiana. Davian developed and executed the companies' strategic and operational growth plans and advanced both companies successful brand and marketing initiatives during his executive tenure. He played a large role in growing his Louisiana environmental firm from a $7 million company in 2000, to over $85 million in 2007, and in excess of $60 million in 2008. Beginning in March 2009, Davian joined a group of investors as the CEO-in-Residence with the goal of searching for an environmental services company to serve as a platform organization that would allow for future growth in the environmental arena. In June of 2010, that same investment initiative acquired First Response, Inc., where Davian built an organization that doubled in size in nearly two and a half years. He has since sold his interest and is now leading Horizon Environmental, in Houston, in all day-to-day operations. He holds a BA degree in Psychology and an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University. In 2012, He completed a prestigious three-year course for the Executive Education Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School. Davian resides in Hendersonville, TN with his wife and two children.

Vice President of Operations

Robert L. Parham

Rob developed his skill set during the past fifteen years of working in environmental service businesses as well as participating in private oil and fueling terminals along the Houston ship channel, with companies such as Rohm and Haas, as well as Vopak Terminals. He began his career with Horizon Environmental as an Operations Supervisor during the BP Horizon Spill where he oversaw crews and managed water operations from Dauphin Island, AL to Panama City, FL. He also plays a dual role within the organization serving as our Corporate Health and Safety Officer where he has achieved his Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) Certification due to his extensive background in safety compliance and training. He is currently responsible for profitably building all branches and services lines of the business, while continuing to mentor all operational personnel within the business. Rob resides in Deer Park, TX with his wife and four children.

Branch Manager – Victoria, Texas Operations

Eric Barrier

Eric has over 21 years of experience in the oil field and environmental industries in the areas of project management, health and safety coordination, hazardous materials management and emergency response. He began his career with Horizon Environmental in 2016 as a Supervisor before being promoted to Branch manager for the Victoria, Texas office. Eric provides professional 24-hour emergency response to Oil and Hazardous Material releases, as well as management and industrial projects for Texas and Louisiana. He is a current TWIC license carrier as well as maintaining special training in OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations and Emergency Response, and Tank Entry Supervisor (TES). Eric maintains serving his community as he has done for the last 10 years as a first responder. Eric resides in Port Lavaca, Texas with his wife and two children.

Senior Account Executive

Stephanie Wood

Stephanie is a graduate of Texas State University. Born and raised in Victoria, Texas, Stephanie has been a valued member of the Horizon team since 2017 as a Senior Account Executive in the Victoria /South Texas area. Having gained experience on the spill response, transportation and tank cleaning side of the business, Stephanie brings her knowledge and skills to the environmental services industry. With an appreciation for a service driven industry, Stephanie is dedicated to working hard to maintain customer satisfaction. Outside of work she loves being a mom and a wife and spending time with family and friends.

Account Executive

Mallory Hicks

Mallory graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Occupational Health and Safety. Ms. Hicks joined Horizon Environmental in 2023 as an Account Executive, who will work to develop greater customer diversification for the organization while continuing to build the brand. Originally from Deer Park, Texas, Mallory has grown up around the oil and gas industry her entire life. Her education combined with her upbringing have created a deep passion for ensuring the happiness and safety of people and the world around us. In her personal life Mallory enjoys spending time with friends and family, and always relish’s the opportunity for the outdoors and camping.
